When I go to PIK usually brain recall that the place for enjoying ramen and bubble. We knew there are so many ramen and bubble there. But when I invited to Hawaiian Bistro, I have a question that where it is? PIK? I surprise there is another food category beside ramen and bubble. Hawaiian Food is kinda new thing to me. Pier 16 : Seafood Resto in Pantai Indah Kapuk

 

Pier16 is newbie resto located in Pantai Indah Kapuk, new food district in North Jakarta. I invited to their food tasting with many fellow blogger. Before I invited to Pier 16, I already knew there is Pier 16 who served seafood. I am seafood lover and I really happy that there is seafood resto invited me of new way enjoying seafood. 

Pier 16 have cute way of enjoy seafood, not like high-end seafood resto or not like hawker seafood resto. They served in their way to enjoy seafood. They served seafood in western way, even we also see they served Indonesian way to served seafood.

Nannys Pavillion Barn in Flavour Blis

Nannys Pavillion is not a new place for me. It is my favorite place to enjoy pancake, pasta, and anything which is always yummy and drooling my eyes with their lovely and cute ambiance they are served to me. I always love the way the named their menu. It looks like they wanna served Nannys heritage food to the others. Then I love they also have different theme in every store they have, so you won't get boring with their interior while you visit Nannys.

White European Asparagus Affair by Scusa - Intercontinental Jakarta

In the middle of April til June, it is asparagus season especially white asparagus. We are Indonesian people known white asparagus is only the one which is available in can. Actually, white asparagus is available in fresh condition like the others vegetable. To celebrate asparagus season, InterContinental Jakarta served this special season in delight palate for lunch or dinner in Scusa and Bacchus. 

As we know Scusa is one of the best western restaurant in Jakarta, especially in this special season Chef Gary Palm as Excecutive Chef and Chef Wawan Barito as Chef De Cuisine of Sucesa created special menu using white asparagus ingredients, such as creamy white asparagus soup with parmigiano reggiano fritters, white asparagus risotto with pramesan and truffle scented, beef tenderloin with melted gorgonzola, grilled white asparagus, creamy baked potatoes and tarragon bearnaise sauce. 

Private Tasting Gastro Alley

Gastro Alley is new western resto in food district Pantai Indak Kapuk Jakarta. Launched in July 2012. I feel honored that I was invited in Gasto Alley Private Food Tasting three weeks ago. I had private tasting with Anak Jajan and Wanderbites. In lunch time at 1pm, I came to Gastro Alley. I welcomed with the owner Mr Darmawan and Mrs Nancy. They picked us some food for private food tasting, so here's what we had!

Yaudah Bistro

Yaudah Bistro is one of restaurant who stay quite longer in my food resolution. I really want to go there because I heard so many people said they have great food. Actually they served western food, so you could find, pasta, steak, burger and etc Last month I went there with my mom in lunch time. My mom thought, Yaudah Bistro located in Jaksa street, but when we through until the end of Jaksa street , but we didn't find it. We didn't know that Yaudah Bistro was moved to Gondangdia Menteng, so after we asked some people on street we found direction to reach Yaudah Bistro. In Menteng street, we found yellow catchy building that is Yaudah Bistro. We were very hungry, so we hurry up called the waitress and ordered some speciality food. Here's what we have in Yaudah Bistro. 

Downtown Bistro

Western food is often eaten with friends. Maybe because they have one portion for one people. So, last month with my friends Vina and Anitya, we went to Downtown Bistro. Before we knew that they are located in Landmark Building. I don't know where is it. I even don't know where is Landmark Building. So couple weeks ago before we ate there, we had to turn around far from Bundaran HI because the police closed the street. We passed by Landmark Building and we wish visit them next time. They served international menu, so I was excited what they have. So here it is

Hema : Dutch Resto

Between European Food, Hollandaise food has the least popularity than the others. Like Italian food, we easier to remember what is Italian food such as pizza, pasta, gelato and etc. Germany, we easier to remember they have great sausages. Swiss famous with their cheese. French famous with their escargot. But Hollandaise food, I only remember Pofferjes as dessert for appetizer or main course, I don't really have any idea. So couple weeks ago I went to Hema Dutch Resto, they have many more Hollandaise Food beside their famous Pofferjes. Here's what we had.

Mille Crepe in Pancious Pancake House

It is too early to back home after attended Job Fair in Gatot Subroto street, I asked my friend Bella to occupied me had culinary trip. It was unplanned culinary trip. The first place pop up in my mind was Plaza Indonesia, but I came there twice or third in that week, so I change my direction to Pacific Place. With taxi, on 10 am we reached Pacific Place. I am rarely come here, they have many new place to visit. So first I stepped my foot to Pancious. 

Bagel2Bagel : NY Style Bagel

Before I came to Bagel to Bagel I doubt their Bagel, I thought that the Bagel types is same like Kem Chick's Bagel which crust outside and soft inside. I don't like that Bagel types. It is hard to bite and it is tasteless. But after I step my foot to their small outlet in SCBD with my friend Vina, that doubt goes away. This Bagel types is 180 degrees different with Kem Chick's types. They have soft, chewy and tasty bagel. They served Bagel in fun way, they are not only offer plain Bagel with many choices but also Bagel with topping. 

Porter Er House

After finished had snack in Ochado, Rati-Rati, and Bobabits, so we stepped up our foot to serious dinner in Port Er House. Port Er House is a great place for hangout with friends, but if you bring your family like I did, it is great place too. They have comfy place to have family quality time. They served western food, and my mom is big fans of western food, so here it is!

The Goods Dinner : Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner, Late Night

The Goods Diner is 'IT' place in Jakarta. Beside The Goods Diner, they also have The Goods Cafe, check my out here. I came to The Goods Diner when The Goods Dept and The Goods Cafe moved from Plaza Indonesia to Pacific Place, so they have rainbow cake, which is only available in The Goods Cafe as I know. The Goods Diner served western food also asian food. Food variety The Goods Dinner and The Goods Cafe is quite similar. But the place, might be I prefer The Goods Diner. 

When I came it with my sister, Irene. It was saturday night. It was time to hang out and chill out. First thought I wanna go to The Goods Diner coz I missed their cake both rainbow cake and red velvet cake, then I asked the receptionist for table, luckily they said there are available seat but not more than 9.30pm. I came there around 8pm, so I thought is oke for me if I only have two and a half time to enjoy my meal. So I get hurry to check out their menu.

Otel Lobby

Otel Lobby is one of hype resto in Jakarta. In fasting month, they held some quiz to win the beef wellington which is signature dish of Otel Lobby. The quiz was held from 1-15 August, in twitter with hashtag #tweettowinbeefwellington. Luckily me, I won the beef wellington quiz, so the next day in the lunch time I visited them. 

SKYE56 : Dine from Level 56

SKYE56 is hype place in Jakarta. It is located in level 56 in Menara BCA Jakarta. So far as I know, this is the tallest resto in Jakarta beside Cilantro which is located in BNI46 and already closed. SKYE56 open not more than 6 months but they are really crowded. SKYE56 has two area lounge and restaurant. Last time, I went to their lounge and unlucky me I had to wait til 30 minutes than I  decided to go, coz I think until when I have to wait in Lounge. So in my second time go to SKYE56, I booked 1 week before I visit them. 

IKEA Singapore

Who doesn't know IKEA. IKEA is famous with their unique product such a living room furniture, kitchen stuff, also bedroom. So for my Singapore trip last month, I visited IKEA to check out their unique furniture, then after that I ate in their IKEA Food. Since I am curious with their meat balls, so I tried them.

In Singapore, there are two IKEA store, one in the Alexandra and one in the Tampines. So this visit, I visited their store in Alexandra. To reach them I take MRT and bus. If you are confused how to get there, you could check out here. 

BLD : Breakfast Lunch Dinner (Revisit)

Long time not see BLD, I ever visited BLD before you could read it in my blog post here. Since disdus had special promotion and voucher, so I decided to go back to BLD. BLD such a great place near my home, to cheat chat, meeting, also enjoy your breakfast, lunch and dinner here. Last time I visited here they still less visitor, but now the visitor increase. Generally they have non smoking area in upstair and smoking area in downstair. But you could pick what area you want to seated. In this visit, I seated in their non smoking area. Last time I went here, I choose to seat in smoking area. Since they have a great view in smoking area. But now, I wanna try something new. Generally they have non smoking area in upstair and smoking area in downstair. 

Tin Pan Alley (Revisit)

I visited Tin Pan Alley with Titik to had dinner. I used the disdus voucher and it was the last time to use the Tin Pan Alley with disdus voucher. Luckly I was booked in monday and they said it full booked, so I reschedule to tuesday, luckly there are still available seat for me and Titik. I booked in 6.30pm until 7.00pm, first I came there is less people but when the clock show 7.00pm the table is start full with people who ate dinner with or without the disdus voucher. In that evening, I also met Tisya my friends in Atma Jaya.

Food panda is food online web, which is served hungry people. With just a few simple clicks, foodpanda helps you to easily order food over the internet. Steaming hot food is conveniently delivered to your home or your office. They have many food from unfamous until famous brand. They served from 10.00-21.00. Nannys Pavillion Gandaria City

Nanny's Pavilion is cute and sweet eat place in Jakarta. The first Nanny's Pavillion outlet is located in Bandung, then Nanny's Pavillion opened their outlet in Jakarta which is located in City Walk Sudirman. Now, Nannys' has 4 outlet first in City Walk, then Central Park, Gandaria City and the new one is in Living World. Every Nanny's Pavillion outlet has different theme. Like in Gandari City the outlet theme is sewing room, so they display, fabric, sewing machine and etc. It so cute and unique.

Ninotchka Coffee Parlour & Diner

Finally I had a chance to coming to Ninotchka Cafe. Long time in my food resolution, Ninotchka is standing there and I am not cross that name. But finally last week, me and Vina coming to Ninotchka. Ninotchka owner is fashion blogger Sonia Erica who is really famous in fashion industry. Then arround last year she spread their pasion to food industry. So here it is Ninotchka.
