Sweet and Savory Dessert by Island Creamery

Island Creamery is one of my favorite dessert place in Jakarta. They opened their first store in 2004 at Flavour Bliss, Alam Sutera. Then they opened another store at Kota Kasablanka Mall, Pondok Indah Mall, Kelapa Gading Mall, Summarecon Bekasi and Puri Indah Mall. Last saturday with my officemate, I went to Island Creamery Puri Indah Mall to join the Food Tasting. They are going to launch new menu in July. I have a previlege to tried their new menu more than anyone else.

Like another first outlet in Alam Sutera, they made the same interior and bring it as identity of Island Creamery with light wood chair and small corner for children to drawing and colouring. They have indoor and outdoor area, so you can choose which are is suite for you.

As the sweet and savory dessert they prepare, they have 2 quirky savory dessert and 1 favorite milkshake. Let we start with The Elvis Milkshake combines fresh banana ice cream blended with dark chocolate fudge and peanut butter for that extra savory kick. It is so suitable for summer, especially who loves peanuts butter will love this milkshake.

Secret Pop! Sundae, which has chocolate and caramel sauces drizzled on Vanilla ice cream topped with caramel popcorn and candied chicken bacon bits. It surprise me who never has any experience with savory and sweet ice sundae. In my first bite, I really doubt this ice cream but in the end I was not really care about the chicken bacon on top. It gives you and extraordinary experience to eat more than sweet dessert. 

Secret Pop! Sundae Rp. 39,000,-

The Lighting Rod Sundae has walnut brownie topped off with a scoop of chocolate peanut butter ice cream, chocolate fudge and salted pretzel sticks. It is suitable for chocolate lover like me. I really like it when the walnut brownie mix with chocolate butter ice cream and the pretzel sticks in one full spoon. I really love the richness and saltiness of peanut butter and pretzel sticks. It will be my next favorite sundae.

As a gift, Island Creamery gives me 4 boxes of cookies. I love cookies and I am really how the cookies taste like and I am going to paired them with some tea or coffee.

Crunch Chips : Snack from Nestle

Crunch Chips is new snack from one of biggest snack producer in Indonesia, so without no doubt after watching their ad, I really want to try Crunch. Last week, I went to Carefour and found many flavour and size of Crunch. I thought they only have one flavour, actually they have 3 flavour, there are orange, strawberry and original.

House of Chocolate by Magnum

House of Chocolate Magnum is present in Grand Indonesia, as remember this is not the first time Magnum present Magnum Cafe. As we can flash back to April 2011, they have Magnum Cafe which is present for 10 months in Grand Indonesia. Nowadays, Magnum present new concept of their Magnum Cafe named as House of Chocolate Magnum. They located in different place of the past Magnum Cafe and different concept from Magnum Cafe.  

Pia Legong from Bali

After I ate Mr Curry in Grand Indonesia, Me, Vina, Anitya and Cella have dessert in Ninety Nine. Since my last visit in Ninety Nine, I visited Ninety Nine in Pessangrahan, so this is my first time visiting Ninety Nine in Grand Indonesia. Ninety Nine in Grand Indonesia is located in basement, but it doesn't make Ninety Nine looks messy, but Ninety Nine still charming and great like usual.

When I planning to go to Singapore. I put once upon a milkshake in my food list, but after I search them in google, their location is out of my itinerary, so I cross them from my food list. But surprise me, in Ion Orchard, I found them so without long thought I bought the milkshake. 

Aunty Anne : Pretzel Perfect

Auntie Anne Pretzel is one of my favorite snack in Puri Indah Mall. Since my home is so near with Puri Indah Mall, so I am very often coming here. Until one time, I want some sweet snack so I really miss the pretzel from Auntie Anne. 

The Harvest : Patissier and Chocolatier

The Harvest is patissier and chocolate place. The Harvest established in 2004, they became the first specialised European style pastry shop in Indonesia. Now they have many outlet in Jakarta, Bandung and Surabaya. They many kinds of cake and pastries, chocolaties and pralines, ice cream, also bread, etc. The Harvest have style hotel in every single part of The Harvest start from the packaging, the presentation, the cake style, etc. 

Dapur Cokelat New Branch in Taman Palem

Today is Dapur Cokelat birthday, they have special promotion for their whole cake. Its only Rp. 111,000,- Then before they have special promotion, last week I came to their new outlet in Taman Palem, it is quite near from my home, beside they have many outlet in Jakarta Barat which is in Green Ville and Alam Sutera, but Taman Palem will be my nearest outlet Dapur Cokelat.

Ninotchka Coffee Parlour & Diner

Finally I had a chance to coming to Ninotchka Cafe. Long time in my food resolution, Ninotchka is standing there and I am not cross that name. But finally last week, me and Vina coming to Ninotchka. Ninotchka owner is fashion blogger Sonia Erica who is really famous in fashion industry. Then arround last year she spread their pasion to food industry. So here it is Ninotchka.
