Tsurukamedou is new hip place in Taman Ratu. They served yummy ramen, which is succesfully make me curious what make them really special. Then two weeks ago, me with my sister and Joan also her boyfriend went there not in meal time. There are no people come, when I came there, but not longer after that so many people come to taste their ramen. What makes them really special? Here what I found.

Marugame Udon

Marugame Udon is new udon resto in Jakarta. I know I am little bit late visited them, but it is better late then never right. Marugame maybe is the first japanesse resto which is specialize in udon. As I know maybe ramen is more popular than udon. But it doesn't make Marugame Udon not popular. So many people kinda curious about Marugame Udon and in the lunch time Marugame Udon has long queue. Marugame Udon served so many style of udon, if I know udon only served with soy sauce soup, but in Marugame Udon you could find many style of udon soup.

Pink Series for Mothers Day by Calais

To celebrate mother's day in May, Calais present Pink Series a series of bubble tea consists of 4 variants. There are Strawberry Milk Tea, Watermelon Milk Tea, Strawberry Blush Smoothies and Sourberry Smoothies. All that series has pink colour, as representation of women. Ingredients of pink series are strawberry and watermelon. Pink Series only available until the end of july, so it is very limited time to join Pink Series.

Pan Ya

How doesn't like cake and bread? I have one of my favourite bakery called Pan Ya. Comes from Okoyama, Japan. They served natural and healthy bread. Beside that they also have  unique, yummy and special than other bakery. So let me share to you, why I love them.Since so many bakery in Jakarta, they are compete with the others, trying to show how good they are served bread and cake. They want to take our attention by their food display, so it looks really tempting. But Pan Ya comes with traditional with Japanese style of bread. They successfully make me back again and again to their store. 

BlackBall : New Dessert in Town

  

Welcome to new dessert in town, that is BlackBall.  Before they opened their store, so many I  passed by their store and I kinda curious what dessert they will serve. Is it same like the phenomenal and everlasting dessert Honey Moon Dessert or are they look like Hong Tang? I don't know, I don't have any preference. So when I've got any chance after Bakerzin Cooking Class by Groupon me with Aline, Tikka and Mulie went there to try them. Let's seek out what BlackBall has!

Nowadays, Bubble Tea available in many brands and many variants, for bubble tea lover like me, I would love to taste one by one the bubble tea, what I like and what I don't like. Actually the bubble tea era is start when Chatime opened their first store in Living World, they are the first bubble tea pioneer with the bubble tea style that we drink. Before the Chatime, when I was in junior high school there were famous bubble tea, there are Hop Hop and Quickly, but I don't put them in my list because I wanna record the bubble tea era from Chatime to many newest bubble tea that I know.

Sam & Jolly Cafe

After went to church, last week in Saturday night, I went to Central Park to hangout with my sister. We had our dinner in Kamikaze and window shopping. After that I thought I want something sweet as dessert. I got an idea why don't I try Sams and Jolly, new restaurant under Sour Sally as the pioneer of frozen yoghurt in Indonesia. I thought maybe they have many unique dessert to try. I steeped my foot to Sams and Jolly.  Luckily me, I came there as the last order. If I was little bit late to came to Sams and Jolly maybe I could not taste their unique food. So here's what we had. 

Ikkudo Ichi

In Food District PIK, so many yummy food on there, you will be curious what is the best ramen here. But don't worry there is the yummy ramen named Ikkudo Ichi. Newbie in ramen industry doesn't make them being follower. They brings new variant menu which spicy. It makes people who loves spicy will be excited with this menu. But don't worry for people who doesn't love spicy, there are many rice menu, pork cheek and many more here could watering your mouth. So here's what we have.

Mille Crepe in Pancious Pancake House

It is too early to back home after attended Job Fair in Gatot Subroto street, I asked my friend Bella to occupied me had culinary trip. It was unplanned culinary trip. The first place pop up in my mind was Plaza Indonesia, but I came there twice or third in that week, so I change my direction to Pacific Place. With taxi, on 10 am we reached Pacific Place. I am rarely come here, they have many new place to visit. So first I stepped my foot to Pancious. 

Snack in Duta Mas

After had my early dinner in A Hwa, surround A Hwa there are many food stall who sells many interesting food, like Popia (Spring Roll) and Fried Banana. Literally, there are famous snow ice surround A Hwa, but I prefer Popiah and  Borneo Fried Banana. So here we are!

Po Pia is not Jakarta traditional food, Po Piah is come from Medan. Most of Po Pia maker is come from Medan and they opened their stall in Medan district in Jakarta like in Duta Mas. Po Pia available in fried and non fried popiah. Like another spring roll, Po Pia is filled by many vegetable like bean sprouts, and carrot. But the difference between spring roll and Po Pia is the filling. 

A Hwa

Duta Mas is famous as food district in West Jakarta. From hawker food until restaurant  are available. From halal food til non-halal food could be an option to eat in Duta Mas. Couple of weeks ago, me and my family visited A Hwa who is my family favourite Chinesse restaurant. A Hwa served great Chinesse Food like fresh fish, vegetable, pork and etc. Even the ambient in A Hwa is not really comfortable but its paid with the delicious dish that they served. So maybe A Hwa as a proverb "Don't judge the books from the cover". 

Private Coffee Tasting with Saxon Wright and Food Tasting in Blackedlist Coffee

Blacklisted Coffee is new coffee shop in Puri Indah Mall. They have coffee roaster speciality and premium cakes to accompany the coffee. Two weeks ago in Saturday night, Ellyna bbm me and asked me to join the Blacklisted Coffee, so I came in saturday morning with Ellyna and Elvina. I invited to Blacklisted Coffee because their roaster master Saxon Wright came to Indonesia especially came to Blacklisted Coffee. It is my honor could invited by Blacklisted Coffee to enjoy coffee made from World Barista Championship and Australia Head Judge. 

Tea Master

Tea Master is new bubble tea in Puri Indah Mall Jakarta. My home is near Puri Indah Mall, so I go to Puri Indah once or twice a week, so I always update every new resto, new stall or something happen in Puri Indah Mall. Before Tea Master opened, there was only one bubble tea,which is Cha Time and I am kinda boring with Cha Time. So when they open their store I really happy. After Tea Master opened, I never visited Cha Time again, and I prefer Tea Master.  

Marina : Mee Udang Singapore

Last sunday, I was invited by Marina Mee Udang Singapore with Rian and his wife, Julia and his bf, me and Sara. Marina Mee Udang Singapore has signature dish which is marina mee udang. Marina Mee Udang Singapore opened since 4 months ago, it is new mee udang in town. They located in Taman Ratu, which is famous as food center in west Jakarta. Before they opened Marina Mee Udang Singapore, the owner Mrs. Savitri loves to travelling to Singapore, so they usually eat Prawn Mee in Singapore, and it is tasteless. So from the idea of tasteless prawn mee in Singapore, she and his husband bring the idea of yummy Mee Udang in Jakarta.

Last wednesday, I was invited by Manhattan Fish Market to tried their manhattan flaming seafood platter. It is my honor to visit them. Pesca is ice cream cakes store in west Jakarta. Pesca offering ice cream since 10 years ago. Even they held since 10 years ago, but I had chance couple weeks ago visited them. They have many ice cream variant such ice cream cake, mochi ice cream, macaroon ice cream, ice cream cup, individual wrap, brownies ice cream and any yummy ice cream. When I enter their store, I welcome with many ice cream, it likes ice cream heaven. For ice cream lover, you will curious what will you buy, coz everything looks tempting, and you will want everysingle ice cream they have,

The Manhattan Fish Market

Couple weeks ago, I went to Central Park to have my lunch and I think I stuck to The Manhattan Fish Market. It is one of the best fish and chips in town. I never tried The Manhattan Fish Market before, it was my first visit. They have special promotion for lunch, it is only Rp. 50,000,- you could get drink, mushroom soup, and fish and chips with rice. So here they are!

Pepper Lunch Express

Pepper lunch is one my sister food. So when disdus had Pepper Lunch promotion, without double thought, I invited my sister to go to Pepper Lunch. In disdus there are two promotion. One in the Pepper Lunch Express, and the others in Pepper Lunch resto. Since in Puri Indah Mall, there is only Pepper Lunch Express, so I bought the voucher, to ate with my sister. 

Ninety Nine : Dessert Time

After I ate Mr Curry in Grand Indonesia, Me, Vina, Anitya and Cella have dessert in Ninety Nine. Since my last visit in Ninety Nine, I visited Ninety Nine in Pessangrahan, so this is my first time visiting Ninety Nine in Grand Indonesia. Ninety Nine in Grand Indonesia is located in basement, but it doesn't make Ninety Nine looks messy, but Ninety Nine still charming and great like usual.
