Mooncake Festival: Mid Autumn Celebration

Happy Moon Cake Festival (Zhongqiu Jie). Mid Autumn Festival known as Moon Festival or Mooncake Festival, is a popular lunar harvest festival celebrated by Chinese people. Moon Cake Festival became popular during the early Tang Dynasty. The festival is held on the 15th of the eighth month in the Chinese calender, which is in September or early Octover in the Gregorian calendar. 

My family is not really care with Moon Cake Festival, but every year we always buy some moon cake in many variants, here's what Moon Cake we bought. 

Rati-Rati : Japanesse Roll Cake

Rati-Rati is japanesse roll cake, I know Rati-Rati from Wanderbites, he said the roll cakes so soft and smooth, so when Deal keren offered the special deal, so I just click to buy button then I could trade in the period that they defined. So finish with two kinds of bubble tea and my tummy is going to explode, so I decided to took away Rati-Rati as my  food stock at home. 

First Love Cake Patisserie : The Thousand Layer Cake

First Love Cake Patisserie is one of biggest mille crepe supplier in Jakarta. At first, mille crepe is come from France it made from japanesse who live in France and named as mille crepe, but mille crepe is more popular in Asia such Japan, Taiwan, Koreo, Hongkong and many more. Now, First Love Cake also available in Jakarta. If you go to Plaza Indonesia, you will find First Love Cake kiosk there, even it is little tiny kiosk, but the marketing said they usually sell more than 100 pan a day, so many right. But unfortunately, in Plaza Indonesia, First Love Cake doesn't sell per piece mille crepe you have to buy 1 pan of mille crepe. But, don't worry, they supply in many cafe surround Jakarta, such Dante Coffee, Noodle Cafe, Kitchenette, B-Side Kawai and many more, so if you want to buy per piece you could go to that cafe or resto. As the biggest supplier mille crepe, First Love Cake available in many flavor such as original, green tea, oreo, coffee, blueberry.

Ninety Nine : Dessert Time

After I ate Mr Curry in Grand Indonesia, Me, Vina, Anitya and Cella have dessert in Ninety Nine. Since my last visit in Ninety Nine, I visited Ninety Nine in Pessangrahan, so this is my first time visiting Ninety Nine in Grand Indonesia. Ninety Nine in Grand Indonesia is located in basement, but it doesn't make Ninety Nine looks messy, but Ninety Nine still charming and great like usual.

Red velvet is one of hype food in Jakarta, beside rainbow cake. But in this post I want to share my red velvet hunting journey to you. It will be a recommendation for people who are not find the best red velvet for them. So enjoy!

The Harvest is patissier and chocolate place. The Harvest established in 2004, they became the first specialised European style pastry shop in Indonesia. Now they have many outlet in Jakarta, Bandung and Surabaya. They many kinds of cake and pastries, chocolaties and pralines, ice cream, also bread, etc. The Harvest have style hotel in every single part of The Harvest start from the packaging, the presentation, the cake style, etc. 

Dapur Cokelat New Branch in Taman Palem

Today is Dapur Cokelat birthday, they have special promotion for their whole cake. Its only Rp. 111,000,- Then before they have special promotion, last week I came to their new outlet in Taman Palem, it is quite near from my home, beside they have many outlet in Jakarta Barat which is in Green Ville and Alam Sutera, but Taman Palem will be my nearest outlet Dapur Cokelat.

Ninotchka Coffee Parlour & Diner

Finally I had a chance to coming to Ninotchka Cafe. Long time in my food resolution, Ninotchka is standing there and I am not cross that name. But finally last week, me and Vina coming to Ninotchka. Ninotchka owner is fashion blogger Sonia Erica who is really famous in fashion industry. Then arround last year she spread their pasion to food industry. So here it is Ninotchka.

Minilovebites Cupcake

Maybe it is not first time you hear minilovebites. They are quite famous in cupcake industry. But little bit late, I just tried them couple week ago. Same like Misu, I come in City Walk coz I attend seminar there. There is minilovebites stand on there. So I buy many cupcakes to taste how good minilovebites. 

Minilovebite has many flavour but the famous flavour they have are red velvet cake, double choco, and green tea. So I bought 2 of their favourite cupcakes. 

Then I tried their red velvet cupcake. I like it so much, it is different with green tea cupcake. The red velvet cupcake is good, the texture so nice, it is moist, and soft also the creme cheese frosting is great. I like it. Then for vanilla chocolate chip cupcake, It is great. The choco chips make it great also I could taste the vanilla then the frosting is good too. For the sweet level, it is enough for me.
