When I go to PIK usually brain recall that the place for enjoying ramen and bubble. We knew there are so many ramen and bubble there. But when I invited to Hawaiian Bistro, I have a question that where it is? PIK? I surprise there is another food category beside ramen and bubble. Hawaiian Food is kinda new thing to me. Pier 16 : Seafood Resto in Pantai Indah Kapuk

 

Pier16 is newbie resto located in Pantai Indah Kapuk, new food district in North Jakarta. I invited to their food tasting with many fellow blogger. Before I invited to Pier 16, I already knew there is Pier 16 who served seafood. I am seafood lover and I really happy that there is seafood resto invited me of new way enjoying seafood. 

Pier 16 have cute way of enjoy seafood, not like high-end seafood resto or not like hawker seafood resto. They served in their way to enjoy seafood. They served seafood in western way, even we also see they served Indonesian way to served seafood.

Private Tasting Gastro Alley

Gastro Alley is new western resto in food district Pantai Indak Kapuk Jakarta. Launched in July 2012. I feel honored that I was invited in Gasto Alley Private Food Tasting three weeks ago. I had private tasting with Anak Jajan and Wanderbites. In lunch time at 1pm, I came to Gastro Alley. I welcomed with the owner Mr Darmawan and Mrs Nancy. They picked us some food for private food tasting, so here's what we had!

UPDATE 24/11/2012 : Bubble Tea in Jakarta

Nowadays, Bubble Tea available in many brands and many variants, for bubble tea lover like me, I would love to taste one by one the bubble tea, what I like and what I don't like. Actually the bubble tea era is start when Chatime opened their first store in Living World, they are the first bubble tea pioneer with the bubble tea style that we drink. Before the Chatime, when I was in junior high school there were famous bubble tea, there are Hop Hop and Quickly, but I don't put them in my list because I wanna record the bubble tea era from Chatime to many newest bubble tea that I know.

Porter Er House

After finished had snack in Ochado, Rati-Rati, and Bobabits, so we stepped up our foot to serious dinner in Port Er House. Port Er House is a great place for hangout with friends, but if you bring your family like I did, it is great place too. They have comfy place to have family quality time. They served western food, and my mom is big fans of western food, so here it is!

Bobabits

Bobabits is another bubble tea in PIK area. I went to PIK with my parents, my sister and my grandma, even I went once but I went to many place, like Ochado and Rati-Rati. So here's Bobabits, beside they sell bubble tea, they also sell snack like takoyaki, chicken wings, and etc. I went to Bobabits in idul fitri holiday and I went there not in lunch and dinner time, so visitor is less than their another daily working hour. From outside, Bobaits is eye catching coz they have catchy neon box and the outside area is so unique.

Rati-Rati : Japanesse Roll Cake

Rati-Rati is japanesse roll cake, I know Rati-Rati from Wanderbites, he said the roll cakes so soft and smooth, so when Deal keren offered the special deal, so I just click to buy button then I could trade in the period that they defined. So finish with two kinds of bubble tea and my tummy is going to explode, so I decided to took away Rati-Rati as my  food stock at home. 

Ochado

When Idul Fitri holiday, my family didn't go out of town, so we decided to find food new hype food center in north Jakarta not too far from my home. In Pantai Indah Kapuk, there are three bubble tea, that is Bobabits, Ochado and Mr Tea Inc. Ochado is come from Japan, but my sister, Irene knew Ochado from Pavillion, one of the biggest mall in KL. So here we are tried the bubble tea from Malaysia.
