UPDATE 24/11/2012 : Bubble Tea in Jakarta

Nowadays, Bubble Tea available in many brands and many variants, for bubble tea lover like me, I would love to taste one by one the bubble tea, what I like and what I don't like. Actually the bubble tea era is start when Chatime opened their first store in Living World, they are the first bubble tea pioneer with the bubble tea style that we drink. Before the Chatime, when I was in junior high school there were famous bubble tea, there are Hop Hop and Quickly, but I don't put them in my list because I wanna record the bubble tea era from Chatime to many newest bubble tea that I know.

B-Side Wakai

After ate in Zenbu : House of Mozaru, I moved to dessert place in B-side Wakai. It is new place in Plaza Indonesia. It is literally small cafe beside Wakai the clothing store. I heard that many people really loves their baked mochi, so I asked Cindy to have dessert in B-Side Wakai. 

B-side Wakai is small tiny cafe, they only couple of seat. The decoration is so japanesse, they used wood, sofa and in the left side when you entered B-Side Wakai, they have big cold storage to chill the drink. It is quite nice place to hangout after you shop in the next store. 

QQ Kopitiam

QQ Kopitiam is one of famous kopitiam in kopitiam industry. They have many outlet in Jakarta. One of them is in Plaza Indonesia. QQ Kopitiam in Plaza Indonesia, so crowded even it is not meal time, they always busy and many seat are full with the visitors. After checked out the crowd, so I can assume them they served great food and drink. Since I never tried QQ Kopitiam before, so after go around in Plaza Indonesia, Anitya and Me also Vina decided to tried the crowded kopitiam in Plaza Indonesia. So, check it out!

Santoukha Ramen : Hokkaido Ramen

Santouka Ramen is one of hype ramen in Jakarta. Santouka Ramen not only famous in Jakarta, but also in Singapore, USA, etc. They are franchise ramen stall, so you could find many outlet in another country like USA, Hongkong, dll. The first stall Santoukha Ramen is from Hokkaido, so it called Hokkaido Ramen. They have many soup choices, there are karai it is spicy soup, shio its salty soup in Santouka, miso its soy bean paste soup, and shoyu its soy sauce soup. For the noodle, they only have regular size of noodle. For the size, they have 3 size of bowl, there are small, medium, and large. 

Gelare (Revisit)

Gelare is one of the best ice cream in Jakarta. Since Gelare also one of my favorite ice cream, so many times ago, disdus have Gelare voucher, so after I ate BLD with Vina I ate here to finish our dish with disdus. I ever ate here. Check it out here. I ate here without the voucher its great but little bit price in my opinion. So I use the disdus voucher to enjoy ice cream in gelare. 

Bakerzin Central Park

Couple week ago I had a chance to meet up with my girl. And we are decided to use or voucher from Disdus So long time, we are not meeting each other. Kinda miss this moment so much. Long time ago we agreed to buy this voucher, many times canceled to meet up. Until finally we meet up again. 

Bakerzin is famous place, they have many food, pizza, pasta, cake, macaroon, steak, etc. For this visit, we have Disdus voucher so they have special menu for us. For our voucher we will get 4 maincourse + 4 dessert. For the choices, we could pick 4 of their main course. For dessert we have to have all their dessert. But for beverage it is not include the voucher, so we could pick our beverage up to us.

Food Blogger Gathering Yukmakan with Hagen Dazs and First Love Cake

Last week I invited to Yukmakan Food Blogger Gathering, which is held in Haagen Dazs Plaza Indonesia Extenstion. Since I am a huge fan of ice cream, I was so excited to come to the food blogger gathering. So here we are. 

Haagen Dazs is famous ice cream brand arround the world. So who doesn't know Haagen Dazs. Haagen Dazs has new menu which is sushi ice cream. It is so unique ice cream also has a cute shape. As the name is sushi ice cream, so the ice cream made to be sushi looks like. Sushi ice cream in haagen dazs contains mango salmon sushi, strawberry gunkan, raspberry kani sushi, kiwi gunkan mostly tasted vanilla. Even this sushi ice cream cute, but it tasted bored. 

The Goods Cafe

As an rainbow cake hunter, my mission to visit The Goods Cafe was too taste their rainbow cake. But unfortunately my mission was failed and change to be had lunch there. The Goods Cafe served western food like pasta, burger, etc. Their signature dish here is coffee rub burger, but since this visit to hunted rainbow cake was failed I lose my appetite. So I ordered pasta here.

Gelare Px Pavilion

Gelare is one of most wanted ice cream in Jakarta. Since they are really famous with their ice cream with waffle, so it makes me interesting to tried them.

For my first visit in Gelare, I am little bit confused with their menu, I thought their pancake price is include with ice cream, but the truth the price the shown is not include with the ice cream. So for this visit, I tried sundae with waffle. I am so in love with their waffle. It is so nice and crunchy but not to hard to bite. Vina's ice cream only single scoop ice cream. The shape of their scoop is unique, since I usually look an ice cream scoop is round or like a ball, but in Gelare they make their scoop flat in the top, so cute. Then something that I think they should serve free is a glass of water. After eat ice cream sometimes your throat feel like clean with water, so they didn't serve me that. But for all gelare is nice.

Haagen Dazs Creation

Haagen Dazs, who doesn't know haagen dazs as an ice cream lover, I am in love with this brand. Especially for this visit. I hear that they have many promotion. The best promotion they offer are buy one get one ice cream creation with BCA credit card. Who don't mouth watering. So am I with my friends. Before we went watched Battleship in Grand Indonesia, we visited Haagen Dazs for our snack time.

Fat Burger Plaza Indonesia

Fat Burger is one of famous burger in Jakarta. This is my first time ate in Fat Burger, I never ate there before. So many people said Fat Burger is delicious burger, so I am excited to try Fat Burger with disdus voucher, that I bought last month. 

Fat Burger ambient so colourful with red colour dominant in their outlet. It is so eye catching and increase you mood to eat. Then it like the other fast food outlet, you have to come to their cashier to order your food and beverage. 

Coffee Bean Puri Indah Mall

Coffee Bean is one of the best coffee shop in town, but I rarely go to Coffee Bean, only two times in my life I came there. First time I like Coffee Bean because the warm chocolate really warming my heart. So this time I came back to taste newest coffee blended.

Tenten Plaza Indonesia

Tenten is one of boga makmur group resto which is on japanesse resto industry, so don't ever worry the taste of Tenten. In early february, I went there with my friend Munthe, having lunch and enjoying tempura.

Tenten tempura is quite different with the others, because they have 3 sauce which are blackpaper, spicy and original. The blackpaper not too spicy like black pepper ussual, but that is good for people who doesn't like spicy, and the spicy will be always spicy as ussual, and the original it means there is no sauce. You can also make your own tempura, it is so interesting.
