Sweet and Savory Dessert by Island Creamery

Island Creamery is one of my favorite dessert place in Jakarta. They opened their first store in 2004 at Flavour Bliss, Alam Sutera. Then they opened another store at Kota Kasablanka Mall, Pondok Indah Mall, Kelapa Gading Mall, Summarecon Bekasi and Puri Indah Mall. Last saturday with my officemate, I went to Island Creamery Puri Indah Mall to join the Food Tasting. They are going to launch new menu in July. I have a previlege to tried their new menu more than anyone else.

Like another first outlet in Alam Sutera, they made the same interior and bring it as identity of Island Creamery with light wood chair and small corner for children to drawing and colouring. They have indoor and outdoor area, so you can choose which are is suite for you.

As the sweet and savory dessert they prepare, they have 2 quirky savory dessert and 1 favorite milkshake. Let we start with The Elvis Milkshake combines fresh banana ice cream blended with dark chocolate fudge and peanut butter for that extra savory kick. It is so suitable for summer, especially who loves peanuts butter will love this milkshake.

Secret Pop! Sundae, which has chocolate and caramel sauces drizzled on Vanilla ice cream topped with caramel popcorn and candied chicken bacon bits. It surprise me who never has any experience with savory and sweet ice sundae. In my first bite, I really doubt this ice cream but in the end I was not really care about the chicken bacon on top. It gives you and extraordinary experience to eat more than sweet dessert. 

Secret Pop! Sundae Rp. 39,000,-

The Lighting Rod Sundae has walnut brownie topped off with a scoop of chocolate peanut butter ice cream, chocolate fudge and salted pretzel sticks. It is suitable for chocolate lover like me. I really like it when the walnut brownie mix with chocolate butter ice cream and the pretzel sticks in one full spoon. I really love the richness and saltiness of peanut butter and pretzel sticks. It will be my next favorite sundae.

As a gift, Island Creamery gives me 4 boxes of cookies. I love cookies and I am really how the cookies taste like and I am going to paired them with some tea or coffee.

Pesca : Homemade Italian Ice Cream in West Jakarta

Pesca is ice cream cakes store in west Jakarta. Pesca offering ice cream since 10 years ago. Even they held since 10 years ago, but I had chance couple weeks ago visited them. They have many ice cream variant such ice cream cake, mochi ice cream, macaroon ice cream, ice cream cup, individual wrap, brownies ice cream and any yummy ice cream. When I enter their store, I welcome with many ice cream, it likes ice cream heaven. For ice cream lover, you will curious what will you buy, coz everything looks tempting, and you will want everysingle ice cream they have,

Gelare (Revisit)

Gelare is one of the best ice cream in Jakarta. Since Gelare also one of my favorite ice cream, so many times ago, disdus have Gelare voucher, so after I ate BLD with Vina I ate here to finish our dish with disdus. I ever ate here. Check it out here. I ate here without the voucher its great but little bit price in my opinion. So I use the disdus voucher to enjoy ice cream in gelare. 

Coffee Time with Yuk Makan and Haagen Dazs

 

Haagen Dazs is famous with their ice cream, do you know they have coffee too? 

Yes they have coffee. Since they opened the store in Indonesia. Haagen dazs accompany their main product (ice cream) with coffee. So this food gathering held to let people know that Haagen Dazs have great coffee. Coz they are really famous with the ice cream, but there is less people know that Haagen Dazs has coffee.

Island Creamery : Ice Cream Heaven

Island Creamery is symbolise what the brand said. I feel like in the land of creamery which is full of cake, ice cream, soda float, blended milkshake, also they have burger and coffee. Island Creamery is come from Singapore. In Indonesia their outlet is in Flavor Bliss Alam Sutera. They have two area. One in the outdoor area and the other one is indoor area. But since it is sunny hot day, so I picked to seated in indoor. I visited in brunch time, so I wanted to have sweet temptation. 

The Harvest : Patissier and Chocolatier

The Harvest is patissier and chocolate place. The Harvest established in 2004, they became the first specialised European style pastry shop in Indonesia. Now they have many outlet in Jakarta, Bandung and Surabaya. They many kinds of cake and pastries, chocolaties and pralines, ice cream, also bread, etc. The Harvest have style hotel in every single part of The Harvest start from the packaging, the presentation, the cake style, etc. 

Food Blogger Gathering Yukmakan with Hagen Dazs and First Love Cake

Last week I invited to Yukmakan Food Blogger Gathering, which is held in Haagen Dazs Plaza Indonesia Extenstion. Since I am a huge fan of ice cream, I was so excited to come to the food blogger gathering. So here we are. 

Haagen Dazs is famous ice cream brand arround the world. So who doesn't know Haagen Dazs. Haagen Dazs has new menu which is sushi ice cream. It is so unique ice cream also has a cute shape. As the name is sushi ice cream, so the ice cream made to be sushi looks like. Sushi ice cream in haagen dazs contains mango salmon sushi, strawberry gunkan, raspberry kani sushi, kiwi gunkan mostly tasted vanilla. Even this sushi ice cream cute, but it tasted bored. 

Magnum New Flavour

From television I know that Magnum launch there new flavour. Here it is I share what new flavour they have.  For my last time eat magnum, they have classic, chocolate-cappuccino, almond, and chocolate truffle. Now they also have chocolate strawberry, chocolate brownies and hazelnut. 

Es Sari Salju 899

Who doesn't know es salju. But still you know don't who is the best es salju in town. Es Sari Salju 899 exist since I was a little girl in Pasar Atom Pasar Baru. Everytime I visit Pasar Baru, I would love to come to Es Sari Salju 899. When I was a little girl es sari salju doesn't has cute stand like nowadays. Also es sari salju had not no name, I only know the es salju near the escalator. Then couple year ago, the owner make brand name to es salju. 

Kedai Gentong Ice Cream

Kedai Gentong Ice Cream isn't newbie in ice cream industry, but I just have a chance to eat Kedai Gentong Ice Cream in Living World. Before that my friends Bella ever told me about Kedai Gentong Ice Cream, she said it was delicious ice cream, and I had to try them. Finally that chance to try them is come. Since their name is ice cream gentong, they put the ice cream into gentong, even I check it the ice cream put in another plastic basket.

Gelare Px Pavilion

Gelare is one of most wanted ice cream in Jakarta. Since they are really famous with their ice cream with waffle, so it makes me interesting to tried them.

For my first visit in Gelare, I am little bit confused with their menu, I thought their pancake price is include with ice cream, but the truth the price the shown is not include with the ice cream. So for this visit, I tried sundae with waffle. I am so in love with their waffle. It is so nice and crunchy but not to hard to bite. Vina's ice cream only single scoop ice cream. The shape of their scoop is unique, since I usually look an ice cream scoop is round or like a ball, but in Gelare they make their scoop flat in the top, so cute. Then something that I think they should serve free is a glass of water. After eat ice cream sometimes your throat feel like clean with water, so they didn't serve me that. But for all gelare is nice.

Haagen Dazs Creation

Haagen Dazs, who doesn't know haagen dazs as an ice cream lover, I am in love with this brand. Especially for this visit. I hear that they have many promotion. The best promotion they offer are buy one get one ice cream creation with BCA credit card. Who don't mouth watering. So am I with my friends. Before we went watched Battleship in Grand Indonesia, we visited Haagen Dazs for our snack time.

Tenten Plaza Indonesia

Tenten is one of boga makmur group resto which is on japanesse resto industry, so don't ever worry the taste of Tenten. In early february, I went there with my friend Munthe, having lunch and enjoying tempura.

Tenten tempura is quite different with the others, because they have 3 sauce which are blackpaper, spicy and original. The blackpaper not too spicy like black pepper ussual, but that is good for people who doesn't like spicy, and the spicy will be always spicy as ussual, and the original it means there is no sauce. You can also make your own tempura, it is so interesting.
