Starbucks Lunch Product

 

Last wednesday, I invited with Starbucks to Wholesome Food Delicious Conversation. In this time Starbucks is getting ready for launch some lunch product. They held this discussion near my office in Starbucks Pessangrahan. I am so happy finally they make event in my living area. Here's the story

As usual, we have known Starbucks as coffee store, so we start our discussion with coffee tasting. They served us Medium Kenya. It is light coffee and this is one of my favourite coffee bean in Starbucks. Accompany with lemon biscuit, it is nice to accompany the coffee. I love the coffee and the pairing.

Then we start our dinner to taste and to score also give an opinion about the Lunch Product in Starbucks. Actually Starbucks has many lunch menu in their store, but not all store are provide this lunch menu. In this lunch product, they have 5 menus. There are Caesar Salad, Pesto Fussili with Roasted Eggplant and Tomato, Farfalle with Beef Meatball and Sauteed Spinach, Pesto Tomato Mozarella Panini, and  Grilled Chicken Humus Panini.

We started with Caesar Salad. It looks like another Caesar Salad, there is nothing special with this salad. Moreover, I think the vegetable is not really fresh maybe because its refrigirated for could hour, also the dressing is too little, I need more dressing. All the component are right, but I need more improvement. 

Pesto Fussili with Roasted Eggplant and Tomato. It looks little bit dry, but it smelled good. This menu intended for vegetarian. I think the pesto has not really strong enough for me, but the tomato in exact amount. For the roasted eggplant, I think it would be better to change it to be mushroom, according my judgement more people like mushroom than people who like eggplant.

Farfalle with Beef Meatball and Sauteed Spinach. It comes really nice and it smelled good. I am a big fan of creamy pasta and so of many people out there will drooling when saw this yummy dish. Beef Meatball always reminds me of IKEA meatball, so my expectation of any kind of meatball little bit high. This Beef Meatball is nailed it. I like it, it is tender and well marinated. Farfalle comes so good accompany with spinach, it will be healthy as well.

Pesto Tomato Mozarella Panini is pesto in Panini version. It comes little bit sprawl, but the mozarella will kick your taste buds. It taste so great yummy panini, I like it, but the pesto is not really strong I tasted tomato domain the panini. It looks by the picture that show they sliced the tomato quite thick.

Grilled Chicken Humus Panini comes with chili flakes and red pepper powder on top. It makes this panini little bit spicy. Grilled Chicken little bit dry, but they combine with mushroom so you'll get the juicy from the mushroom. They use fresh vegetable so this is another healthy food from Starbucks which you could grab in your rush lunch time. 

 

For all I am waiting for this lunch menu, I wish I could grab their pasta and panini as soon as possible and I wish they could make many improvement that we discuss.

Rosso : Italian Restaurant in Shangrilla Jakarta

Shangri-La Jakarta has 5 great restaurant,  one of them is Rosso. In Italian,  Rosso means red, so when you step your foot in Rosso, you'll surrounded by red colour in ever single detail they have shown to you. Rosso. Rosso represents passion, warmth and elegance. Rosso has many section, they have many private room, so if you have to meeting after office hour, Rosso will provide cozy place to enjoy Italian food. Rosso also provide couple of wines also mocktail and cocktail. 

   

 

 

Lasagna Lasagne

Beside I am food blogger, I also love baking. But I only could bake limited item. Luciky lasagna is one of dish that I could bake. I usually make lasagna to eat by my self or given to my friends. Since I am working in Banking Institution, I don't have any more spare time to make lasagna. So, couple weeks ago, I've got scrumptious lasagna from Lasagna Lasagne. First time, I thought it will be some kind of basic lasagna I usually taste. But this is so different. Lasagna Lasagne is one of the best lasagna I like. I really love it so much. It feels like my mom's lasagna for me. Kinda love it in the first sight.

Private Tasting Gastro Alley

Gastro Alley is new western resto in food district Pantai Indak Kapuk Jakarta. Launched in July 2012. I feel honored that I was invited in Gasto Alley Private Food Tasting three weeks ago. I had private tasting with Anak Jajan and Wanderbites. In lunch time at 1pm, I came to Gastro Alley. I welcomed with the owner Mr Darmawan and Mrs Nancy. They picked us some food for private food tasting, so here's what we had!

Downtown Bistro

Western food is often eaten with friends. Maybe because they have one portion for one people. So, last month with my friends Vina and Anitya, we went to Downtown Bistro. Before we knew that they are located in Landmark Building. I don't know where is it. I even don't know where is Landmark Building. So couple weeks ago before we ate there, we had to turn around far from Bundaran HI because the police closed the street. We passed by Landmark Building and we wish visit them next time. They served international menu, so I was excited what they have. So here it is

Porter Er House

After finished had snack in Ochado, Rati-Rati, and Bobabits, so we stepped up our foot to serious dinner in Port Er House. Port Er House is a great place for hangout with friends, but if you bring your family like I did, it is great place too. They have comfy place to have family quality time. They served western food, and my mom is big fans of western food, so here it is!

The Goods Dinner : Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner, Late Night

The Goods Diner is 'IT' place in Jakarta. Beside The Goods Diner, they also have The Goods Cafe, check my out here. I came to The Goods Diner when The Goods Dept and The Goods Cafe moved from Plaza Indonesia to Pacific Place, so they have rainbow cake, which is only available in The Goods Cafe as I know. The Goods Diner served western food also asian food. Food variety The Goods Dinner and The Goods Cafe is quite similar. But the place, might be I prefer The Goods Diner. 

When I came it with my sister, Irene. It was saturday night. It was time to hang out and chill out. First thought I wanna go to The Goods Diner coz I missed their cake both rainbow cake and red velvet cake, then I asked the receptionist for table, luckily they said there are available seat but not more than 9.30pm. I came there around 8pm, so I thought is oke for me if I only have two and a half time to enjoy my meal. So I get hurry to check out their menu.

Ninotchka New Place New Food

Ninotchka is cafe who run by famous fashion blogger Sonia Eryka and her brother Roy DC. Ninotchka have been move to new place since June 2012. I ever visited the old Ninotchka, you could check by click here. The new place is more fresh, more space also they have more table to accomodate the visitor. Also the new Ninotchka has many new things, many new cake, new ice cream flavour, new flavour of macaron, etc. Like usual, Ninotchka have many magazine many games, so you could take it in the box and after you read the magazine and you play the games, you have to back it by yourself. 

Pizza Marzano

Pizza Marzano is one of the best pizza place in Jakarta, couple weeks ago I got a chance to catch them. So long time this place queue in my food revolution. So I was so excited to visit them. Also my friend Vina Sagita, told me that Pizza Marzano has a special discount until 50% for food beverages, but you have to spend at least Rp.200,000 before tax and service. So I little bit force my self and Vina to ordered a little bit more.

Nannys Pavillion Gandaria City

Nanny's Pavilion is cute and sweet eat place in Jakarta. The first Nanny's Pavillion outlet is located in Bandung, then Nanny's Pavillion opened their outlet in Jakarta which is located in City Walk Sudirman. Now, Nannys' has 4 outlet first in City Walk, then Central Park, Gandaria City and the new one is in Living World. Every Nanny's Pavillion outlet has different theme. Like in Gandari City the outlet theme is sewing room, so they display, fabric, sewing machine and etc. It so cute and unique.

Food Gathering Openrice : Never Been Better Kemang

Never Been Better is new place in Kemang Selatan. I was invited by Openrice to join the Openrice Gathering in Never Been Better last week. Before I came there, I search so detail and ask many people, coz I am not familiar with Kemang area. But luckily I came to never been better on time. 

Convivium

Convivium is famous resto in Jakarta. They are famous with their red velvet cake, which is so hype right now. Then I am so lucky could taste their red velvet cake. Beside that, I also tasted their pasta. They have amazing kind of pasta. They have risotto, cannelloni, ravioli, spaghetti, angel hair, etc. Like no other western resto, they made by themself their pasta. So, if you are pasta lover, you have to coming here, taste their homemade pasta also their hospitality. Convivium located in south Jakarta, it is unfamiliar area for me, coz I live in west Jakarta. But it is easy to find Convivium.

Tin Pan Alley

Tin Pan Alley is restaurant, cafe and bar in central Jakarta. They served american bistro menu. Like another western resto, they served italian food like pasta, steak and the others. Tin Pan Alley located in the office, so it is a little bit fancy place, so make sure you dress up well.

This is my first time visited Tin Pan Alley, I have to find where they are belong, coz anz tower separated 2 tower. Then we came there, it is so little resto. What I imagine about Tin Pan Alley, they have large space, but they don't. Even they have small space it is not a big problem for this visit. I like the ambiance, so lovely and so old style. The waiter and waitress, dress up like suspender and fedora hat. 

Ninety Nine Pesanggrahan

Today is valentine days, and I celebrate it with my friends, having dinner in Ninety Nine. Yesterday was my birthday so today, I celebrate valentine plus my birthday. This is my first visit in Ninety Nine. Ninety Nine become hip resto in Jakarta, since their first resto in Grand Indonesia, they opened the second resto in Pesanggrahan. Ninety Nine served western food.
